How do you sort the xml data after pulling iml logs from multiple servers?

I want to write a script that pulls IML logs from multiple servers... Right now 70 as a test then eventually over 100 servers. I know there is a get_iml xml file from hp that i am using to pull the data. Now i want to be able to add on to what i have to take the xml logs and pull data from the logs and sort it based on the important information i need and then come up with a grading scale based off of the severity of each server on whether or not to replace it(power supply issues, crashing etc).
