Save Form Data to XML using Jquery

How to add data from input fields to xml using jquery. on click of link "save Data" data from input fields should save to xml file. old data should not delete while saving new data.

xml data should display repeatedly in html like below

notes.xml :

<mynotes>text...</mynotes>

<mynotes>text...</mynotes>
</notes>
