I have to store xml files and the metadata related to the xml files in a database (postgres). I want to execute XQuery over the stored xml files. As I have searched about this.I came to know that this can be done by creating metadata registry.But in my search I have found that It is better to use an existing registry which satisfies ISO standards than to create new registry.But I am unable to find which metadata registry I should use that would me most appropriate. I want to store XML as well as related metadata with it. Can anyone suggest me the same.
