Magento Order XML Export

I would like to use this script to export my orders as an XML File: Exporting order details magento

Could someone help me on the script. I placed it as PHP in my root folder and tried to execute it but nothing really happend. How would I install the script and where does it store the XML File. Also how can I just use new order and it should not include the old orders.
