soap ui free - how to use functions/saved values(XML's) from other scripts?

I want to call functions, or use saved values(XML's...) in one groovy script, from another.

I tried saving to properties, and re-use, but errors/freezes returned.

How to do it? I need decision for SOAP UI free...
