I am writing a podcast application just as a weekend project. Just few minutes after starting I ran into an issue. XML from different sites are not consistent. I know I can write a client that will work with different services like sticher etc., but I am more interested in knowing how do podcast applications that allows users to paste in URLs deal with this situation.
