The solution said that it was because the images were to large, and so my app was responding slowly when moving the images. Right now, I have a blurred background that I want to keep in my app. My question is, Should I provide alternative resources for that background, or should I just keep it in the main drawable?
My main question would be, will a large (2500 x 1600) image as a background slow down my application?
According to the developer documentation, scaling up and down images may impact quality of my image, and may blur it. I don't really care if the image is blurred, because the background itself is blurred. So, do I need to provide alternative resources, will it mess with the speed of my app?
